Honey Bread Machine Wheat Rolls

A delicious homemade roll that is sure to please everyone. They can be used for hamburgers, sandwiches or even just served as dinner rolls.
  • 1 cup water, warm
  • 1 egg
  • 1½ cup bread flour
  • 1¾ cup whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon gluten
  1. Place all ingredients in bread machine according to manufacturer's directions (usually wet first, then dry, with yeast on top)
  2. Select manual/dough cycle, be sure not to use the delay cycle
  3. Remove dough from pan, let dough rest for about 10 mins on lightly floured surface
  4. Grease cookie sheet or cover with parchment paper.
  5. Place on cookie sheet (roughly 2 inches apart).
  6. Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size (30-45 minutes)
  7. Bake @ 375 for 12-15 mins.
